Art is about creating a sensory reaction - Sound, taste, visuals, touch, emotions.

Handcrafted objects are usually a combination of art, design and function.

My passion is seeking boundaries in these subjects and that is why I founded Arte Helsinki in 2013. To have an umbrella where I can create.

My main focus has been leathercraft and a sub category of fine leatherworks. I like to call it French style of fine leatherworks or “Sellier Maroquinerie” like the French call it themselves.

The history of the craft lies in classic saddlery, trunk and bag making. New materials and tools has evolved this style of leatherwork to new dimensions and continue to do so in 2021.

All of my products are made to order and can be customized to your wishes if it is in my realm of capability.
